Why do people fight in the name of god??

Why dont our people think "Loka samastha sukhino bhavanthu"???
It is the ego of every human which makes him to declare what he does is correct. His county is the best. His language is the best. His parents are best etc. It is that possessiveness that makes that do that. Even though inside they heart, they may not agree to what they say, still they want to argue.

Even if there are some good truth’s in another religion we don’t want to accept it. For example, Meditation is a part of Raja Yoga and physical exercise is from Hata Yoga. Mediation and Yoga are a part of yoga sutras return by Patanjali Muni. It comes from Hinduism.

Many would follow it and say it is not a part of any religion. It is a physical exercise or give some scientific reasoning to it.

Jesus says “love the neighbor”. “Love the whole humanity and the people surrounding you” is what it says. It is such a wonderful statement.

Likewise “Zakath” in islam is such a wonderful concept. Give a small percentage of their annual savings as alms or charity, called zakat.

As soon as you give these wonderful concepts of the religion, immediately people would come back and say that it is also there in their religion. Or they will say its scientific reasoning.

We as humans should be able to appreciate goodness in everything around us, including religion.

Just because you belong to a particular religion, you should not support the atrocities done by other others in the name of your religion.

There are many sympathizers of Terrorists. There are many common individuals who support terrorism only because it is done in the name of their religion. Till some one close to them is affected they won’t realize the problem.

Why so many religions. Why so many verses. Why so many books. Why can’t god store all his verses (one religion) in our brain (just when we take our birth). If he wanted or wished there would have been only one religion. However it is his wish that there are so many varieties and diversities. Appreciate them and go ahead in life.
